Gentamicin, 1000-x solution, 10 mg/ml, sterile
Gentamicin is used for the prevention of bacterial contamination of cell cultures. It is effective abtibiotic against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including mycoplasmas. It can be used in the production of primary cell cultures.
Mechanism of antibiotics action: gentamicin inhibits protein biosynthesis.
Instructions for use: working concentration of 1 ml/l (1000-x solution).
This product is intended for research purposes.
Active substance: gentamicin sulfate - 10 mg/ml
HOW SUPPLIED: in sterile glass or PET bottle of 10 ml.
SHELF LIFE: 2 year.
STORAGE: +2 to +8 °C in a place protected from light.
RECOMMENDED USE:
- Do not use the product after its expiry date.
- Use gloves, mask and clothes adapted to the manipulation of the product to avoid contamination.
- Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
