Fischer's medium, without glutamine
Fischer's Medium supports clonal reproduction of cells, particularly lymphoblast from primary explants or from cells in culture.
Fischer medium without glutamine is a mixture of inorganic salts, amino acids, vitamins, glucose and phenolic red dissolved in purified water, sterilized through filters with pore size of 0.1 microns.
Without Antibiotics.
This product is intended for research purposes.
- Appearance: clear, red-orange solution, without opalescence and sediment.
- pH: 7.0 to 7.4
- Osmolarity: 340±20 mOsm/kg
- Buffer capacity: at least 2.0 ml
PURPOSE: is used for culture of animal and human leukocytes.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: Before use, add 92 mg of sterile L-glutamine to a bottle with medium (450 ml). Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
HOW SUPPLIED: in glass bottles of 450 ml
SHELF LIFE: 1 year.
STORAGE: +2 to +8 °C in a place protected from light.
RECOMMENDED USE:
- Do not use the product after its expiry date.
- Use gloves, mask and clothes adapted to the manipulation of the product to avoid contamination.
- Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
- Supplements such as antibiotics or L-Glutamine should be added as sterile supplements to the ready medium.
- Medium should be clear and free of opalescence and sediment.
