Medium with Lactalbumin Hydrolysate, without glutamine
The Medium is used in biotechnology for culture of a wide range of animal and human cells.
Medium with lactalbumin hydrolysate, without glutamine, is a mixture of inorganic salts, glucose and phenolic red dissolved in purified water, sterilized through filters with pore size of 0.22 microns.
Without Antibiotics.
This product is intended for research purposes.
- Appearance: clear, red-orange solution, without opalescence and sediment.
- pH: 7.0 to 7.2
- Osmolarity: 300±20 mOsm/kg
- Buffer capacity: at least 1.0 ml
- Lact content albumin: 0.5%
PURPOSE: is used for culture of a wide range of animal and human cells.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: The medium is ready to use. It can be used with L-glutamine as an additive, stimulating cell growth at concentration of 300-600 mg/l. Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
HOW SUPPLIED: in sterile plastic bottle of 450 ml.
SHELF LIFE: 1 year.
STORAGE: +2 to +8 °C in a place protected from light.
RECOMMENDED USE:
- Do not use the product after its expiry date.
- Use gloves, mask and clothes adapted to the manipulation of the product to avoid contamination.
- Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
- Supplements such as antibiotics or L-Glutamine should be added as sterile supplements to the ready medium.
- Medium should be clear and free of opalescence and sediment.
