Gelatin 0.1% isotonic solution, sterile
Ready-to-use gelatin solution is intended to coat the culture plastic working surface, facilitating the attachment and spreading of adhesive cell cultures. Gelatin matrix is recommended for cultivation of stem, endothelial, epithelial cells.
This product is intended for research purposes.
Tested for cytotoxicity and specific activity in PanEco.
- Appearance: clear, colorless liquid, without opalescence and sediment.
- pH: from 6.8 to 7.4
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Apply gelatin solution to cover the bottom of the culture vessel. To cover the cultural plastic working surfaces, use 0.1 ml of solution per 1 cm2 of the working surface.
- Incubate the container with solution at room temperature for 30-45 minutes.
- Remove the solution by aspiration.
- Add the medium and suspension of cultured cells to the treated container.
The treated plastic can be dried in a thermostat for 24-48 hours and stored for use 2-3 months at room temperature or 1-1.5 years at 2-8 °C. Repeated processing of plastic once coated with gelatin is not required.
HOW SUPPLIED: in sterile PET bottle of 60 or 100 ml.
SHELF LIFE: 1 year.
STORAGE: +2 to +8 °C in a place protected from light.
RECOMMENDED USE:
- Do not use the product after its expiry date.
- Use gloves, mask and clothes adapted to the manipulation of the product to avoid contamination.
- Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
