Interleukin-2 is powerful immunoregulatory lymphokine. It is produced by T cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. The effect of IL-2 on IL-2R interleukin receptors is necessary for proliferation of T cells and other fundamental for the immune response functions. IL-2 stimulates growth and differentiation of B and NK cells. Lymphokine activates killer cells, monocytes, macrophages and oligodendrocytes.

Recombinant human interleukin is produced by E. coli, consists of 133 amino acids.
Molecular weight is 15.4 kDa.
Lyophilized from a sterile solution of 1 mg / ml in PBS, pH 5.0.
The purity was determined by electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gel and chromatographically and is more than 97%.
The dry preparation is stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, longer storage is permissible at -18℃.
The diluted solution should be stored at temperature of 4℃ for 2-7 days, for longer storage, use carrier protein (0.1% BSA or HSA) and freezing -18℃.
Do not allow repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
