Lymphokar-1 kit for lymphocyte karyotyping
A ready-to-use reagent kit for cytogenetic analysis, including sterile test bottles with lyophilized phytohaemagglutinin (PHA) and all solutions required for cell culture, processing and staining.
Kit contents: Lymphokar test bottles with lyophilized PHA, sterile: 5 bottles of 8 mL; solvent for test bottles, sterile: 1 bottle of 50 mL; colchicine: 0.5 mg; potassium chloride (KCl): 0.56 g; 20× phosphate buffer, pH 6.8: 10 mL; Romanowsky azure-eosin stain: 10 mL; 3 mL transfer pipette: 2 pcs.
Intended use: The kit is intended for culturing peripheral blood lymphocytes in vitro to obtain dividing cells for subsequent research analysis of metaphase chromosomes. The mitogenic effect is provided by phytohaemagglutinin (PHA).
Directions for use:

-
Add 0.5 mL of heparinized blood to each bottle. Incubate for 72 hours at 37°C.
-
Add colchicine solution to each bottle 1.5–2 hours before the end of incubation.
