Eagle's MEM with Earle's salts and glutamine
A mixture of inorganic salts, amino acids, vitamins, glucose and phenol red dissolved in purified water and sterilized through filters with a pore size of 0.22 or 0.1 µm.
This medium is designed for cell culture in an incubator with 5–7% CO2. It is prepared with Earle's salts and a high sodium bicarbonate content (2.2 g/l).
The product is a clear, reddish-orange liquid without opalescence or precipitate. Contains no antibiotics.
pH: from 7.0 to 7.4
Osmolarity: 280 ± 20 mOsmol/kg
Buffering capacity: at least 4.2 mL
INTENDED USE: The medium is used to culture a wide range of animal and human cells.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Ready to use. For sterile work, open the bottle under aseptic conditions.
PACKAGING: Supplied in tightly sealed 450 mL plastic bottles.
SHELF LIFE: 1 year.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at temperatures from +2 to +8 °C, protected from light.
