Among these stories are that of Larisa Kostenko, a hero in the aftermath of the Chornobyl disaster, who sacrificed her health and was able to conceive only at the age of sixty; the story of Michelle Obama, who experienced several miscarriages before successfully having a child; and countless other stories where in vitro fertilization has played a key role in the lives of women and their families.
