Alpha-MEM medium without glutamine
A mixture of inorganic salts, amino acids, vitamins, glucose and phenol red dissolved in purified water and sterilized by membrane filtration.
The product is a clear, reddish-orange liquid without opalescence or precipitate. Contains no antibiotics.
pH: 7.0 to 7.4
Osmolarity: 300 ± 20 mOsmol/kg
Buffering capacity: at least 3.5 mL
INTENDED USE: The medium is used to culture a wide range of animal and human cells. Suitable for cells with increased metabolic requirements, as it contains non-essential and essential amino acids, nucleosides and additional vitamins.
This product is intended for research use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Before use, add 146 mg of dry sterile L-glutamine (Cat. No. Ф032) to the bottle of medium (450 mL). For sterile work, open the bottle under aseptic conditions.
PACKAGING: Supplied in tightly sealed 450 mL plastic or glass bottles.
SHELF LIFE: 1 year.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at temperatures from +2 to +8°C, protected from light.
