Penicillin–streptomycin, 100×, lyophilized, 5 mL, PET bottle
Intended to prevent bacterial contamination during cell culture work. Has a broad spectrum of activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
The product contains:
- Penicillin: 25000 U
- Streptomycin: 25000 µg
This product is intended for research use.
Mechanism of action: streptomycin inhibits protein biosynthesis, while penicillin prevents cell wall synthesis.
Directions for use
To prepare a 100× solution, add 5 mL of sterile distilled water to the bottle.
Working concentration: 10 mL/l of the prepared 100× solution.
Shelf life: 2 years.
Storage and transport conditions: Store at room temperature. Transport by any covered means of transport.
