Dear clients and partners!

On July 25, 1978, Louise Brown was born – the first person to be conceived through IVF. This milestone was the result of years of work by Robert Edwards and Patrick Steptoe, and Edwards later received the Nobel Prize for his contribution. On this day we thank everyone who makes it possible for children to be born into families facing infertility.

The idea of establishing this holiday belongs to Professor Vladislav Korsak and was supported by the Russian Association of Human Reproduction (RAHR). In 2018, Louise Brown personally endorsed the initiative, emphasising: "My role is simply that I was successfully born a healthy child. (...) If people consider 25 July, the date of my birth, to be the most suitable day to mark and celebrate the amazing work of all ART professionals, I will be happy to support this idea. However, we must always remember the contributions of my parents, the team of ART pioneers, and ART specialists around the world. Millions of people worldwide thank you for your work."

Today, the demand for ART is rising globally: at least 15% of couples of reproductive age face infertility. Thanks to IVF, conceiving and carrying a child has become possible at nearly any age and in a wide range of medical conditions. In Russia, since the first IVF programmes were introduced, more than half a million Russians have been born as a result of the procedure.

PanEco Group supports reproductive medicine by supplying IVF laboratories with culture media, reagents, and equipment.

We join in congratulating reproductive physicians, embryologists, and everyone who helps millions of families become parents!
