Liquid Eagle MEM culture medium consists of organic and inorganic compounds dissolved in deionized water: essential amino acids, vitamins, glucose, phenol red and other components that together support cell culture viability in vitro. It is intended for culturing and maintaining the viability of continuous human and animal cell lines in vitro for subsequent use in clinical laboratory diagnostics involving virological examination of patient clinical samples.
